Everything must evolve, or it risks being relegated to the history books. At WP White Security, we are firm believers in the philosophy of kaizen and always seek to develop our plugins for the better. We do this through customer feedback and an understanding of market trends and demands. These two tenets help us ensure all of our products stay relevant and, more importantly, beneficial to our many customers.

We have taken a rebranding exercise to align Password Policy Manager for WordPress with its current functionality and future vision. As such, we are proud to announce the renaming of Password Policy Manager for WordPress to WPassword.

Why did we rename the plugin to WPassword?

Since we launched the Password Policy Manager way back in August of 2018, the plugin has enjoyed a number of updates and improvements. These updates have helped the plugin evolve from one that simply manages passwords to one that takes a more holistic approach to password security on WordPress. We also have more exciting changes in the pipeline – all aimed at making passwords more dependable and ultimately more secure.

We are resolute in our commitment to making WordPress security and administration more accessible. We believe that the new name will make it easier to convey what the product does and the many benefits it offers – helping us reach a wider audience and making more WordPress websites even more secure.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our existing customers, without whom this journey would have not been possible. We appreciate all the feedback, suggestions, and interactions. Rest assured that we value each and every one of you.

In the meantime, if there is anything you would like to see in future versions of WPassword, make sure you drop us a line. As always. We’d be more than happy to hear from you.
